UIC IDO 2018/2019 Fall Semester Study Abroad Announcement (Exchange)

UIC offers students opportunities to study in overseas partner institutes for one semester during their four years study in UIC. Listed are available seats for 2018/2019 fall semester. Students who participate in the programs are voluntarily.

Candidates must have demonstrated excellent academic performance during UIC study. Minimum requirements for each candidate are: IELTS 6.0 (RWSL no lower than 5.5) or TOFEL79 (RWSL no lower than 19) and cGPA 2.5 (sGPA no less than 2.0). IDO will select qualified students based on their academic record, host school quota, TOEFL/IELTS score, participation in Extra Curricular Activities and general personality and submit the complete application materials to the deans and AR. The program director or his/her representative will be invited to the interview. 1300 RMB application/training fee per student will be charged once the student is recruited by UIC. This fee is not refundable.

Swansea University: Programs at Swansea are more suitable for DHSS students at the moment.

Please turn in below print documents upon application on MARCH 7th, 2018 to IDO office at T4-103:

  • One original copy of UIC academic transcript (transcripts of all previous semesters);
  • Personal statement (print out with your signature and date);
  • Original copy of English certificate(IELTS or TOEFL);
  • A signed letter of recommendation from your English language teacher and programme professor;
  • One copy of Passport (valid at least six months before the end of the exchange program) and one copy of ID card;
