    UIC在全世界新冠疫情爆发的形势下，为学生的安全着想不得不取消2020海外暑期项目的所有相关课程。之后，国际发展处（IDO）应部分学生的需求，经过UIC和合作院校的共同努力，我们即将开放新加坡南洋理工大学(NTU)和美国耶鲁大学(Yale)的线上暑期课程给有需要的同学们，为了让大家更好地了解这些项目，国际发展处将在2020年4月30日18：00-19：00安排Zoom线上宣讲会。请同学们关注以下信息！

Good News!

Due to the COVID outbreaks worldwide, UIC had to take the difficult decision to cancel all 2020 overseas summer programs at the beginning of this semester for the sake of UIC students’ safety. In order to provide UIC students with learning opportunities during the summer, the College and the International Development (IDO) were actively exploring available options in order to meet the needs of students, and through the joint efforts of UIC and partner institutions, the summer courses of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) can be delivered online and Yale University (Yale) summer session courses will be open for applications by students who meet the admission requirements. In order to let everyone better understand these programs, IDO will arrange a Zoom online information sharing on April 30, 2020. Please pay attention to the following information!

1. Studentswho originally were enrolled in the NTU and Yale programs have a priority enrollment

2. The minimum NTU quota forstudents’ enrollment is 30. NTU programs will be canceled if the number of applicants is less than 30.
