First, I’d like to thank my parents, IDO staff and all people who supporting me going abroad. It’s no doubt challenging yet worthwhile to enroll in the exchange program under current situation. If given a chance, I would like to do it again without hesitation.

Overall, I’ve experiencing dramatic changes both on myself and perspectives to the world. Speaking of academic style, I attempt to form and present ideas more swiftly like the French students during group work; After school, I’ve travelled to Germany, Spain, Iceland and Belgium during leisure time to immerse myself in European customs and arts; As for culture, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of different cultures through interaction with peers from all over the world. For example, I actively spread traditional Chinese culture by cooking with both kotmates. In addition, I’ve explore new mindset of lifestyle by seeing how people take courage to pursue their passion and enjoy life.

To be honest, it’s my first time in Europe and of course there were culture shock and discomfort everywhere in the beginning. Though sometimes I did miss home for food and fast delivery badly, I still believe it would become one of the most precious memories in lifetime.
