Hi, I am Carina. It is my honor to study in the University of Edinburgh as an exchange student. I am a Year 2 student majored in English Language and Literature in UIC. My courses in Edinburgh are related to my home university. To be honest, study abroad is a lonely and dull process for most of the time. Moreover, it is difficult and pressure. But thanks to loneliness, I am more independent and I have a chance to think about who I am and what I really want. I enjoyed the whole semester working with my teachers and classmates. The interactive classes with rich content attracted me a lot.

Edinburgh is a romantic and historical city, with an excellent nature. As I am a nut of photography, I travelled to a lot of places and took many photos which amazed me a lot. I made friends from all over the world as well, which provides me a chance to experience different cultures.

I always encourage myself to study hard and play hard. Through this journey, I think I have made it. I believed that this exchange experience will be a treasure in my life.
