Dear Colleagues and Students,

You are cordially invited to attend the 2017 International Liberal Arts Forum (14-16 Nov. 2017). The event continues the well-established tradition of holding liberal arts forums to strengthen the ties between Liberal Arts Institutions of Asia, Canada as well as the US and UIC, which opens a transnational forum for liberal arts educators to discuss current issues, exchange views and to learn from each other’s experiences.

The theme this year is“Education and Globalization in the Liberal Arts”, which will be addressed in the speeches by distinguished guests and UIC senior management members.

As this is the first time to involve distinguished guests not only from the US but also from other countries, this forum will be of particular importance for UIC as a liberal arts college.

We are looking forward to meeting many colleagues and students during this joyful event.
