All exchange-in students need to apply for an X visa (Study visa). For the students who will study at BNBU for more than six months, he/she needs to apply for X1 visa (long-term study visa), after arrival in China, he/she needs to change to Residence Permit; for the students who will study at BNBU for less than six months, he/she needs to apply for X2 visa (short-term study visa).

Exchange-in students can apply for the X visa by using the admission letter and JW202/DQ form sent by the International Development Office. After successfully being enrolled, the International Development Office at BNBU would apply for the JW202/DQ form for the exchange-in students, and will normally take two to three weeks to receive the form.
