Candidates must have demonstrated excellent academic performance during UIC study. For overseas exchange and study abroad, minimum requirements for each candidate are: IELTS 6.0 (RWSL no less than 5.5) or TOFEL79 (RWSL no lower than 19) and cGPA 2.5 (sGPA no less than 2.0). For domestic exchange, English language proficiency certificate is not required; however, a recommendation letter certifying the applicant possesses an adequate level of English proficiency for success in studies is essential. IDO will select qualified students based on their academic records, host school quota, TOEFL/IELTS score, participation in Extra Curricular Activities as well as reference letters, and submit the complete application materials to deans and AR for approval. The Department Head or his/her representative will be invited to conduct interviews with overseas exchange and study abroad applicants. 1300 RMB application/training fee per student will be charged once the student is recruited by UIC. This fee is not refundable.
· About 95 exchange and study abroad seats are available up to June 7th, 2022. Notice will be sent out to all students if more information is received from partner institutions.
IMPORTANT:
As the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic is still evolving globally, students and parents should have themselves properly informed about all possible foreseeable risk factors and consider if you and your parents are willing to take the risks before deciding to apply for the program.
