1. Available seats for the semester exchange and study abroad programmes announced via email at the end of each semester
2. Students submit applications online and hand in hardcopies of supporting documents to IDO at the beginning of the new semester
Printed application form with parents’ signatures;
Original copy of UIC academic transcript (transcripts of all previous semesters);
Personal statement (print out with your signature and date);
Original copy of English certificate (IELTS or TOEFL), only applicable to overseas exchange and study abroad programmes;
A signed letter of recommendation from your English language teacher and program teacher (whos knows you welll) respectively;
One copy of passport (valid at least six months after the end of the exchange and study abroad programme), only applicable to overseas exchange and study abroad programmes;
One copy of ID card (both sides on one page);
3. Interviews with the panel, only applicable to overseas programmes
4. Applications of selected candidates approved and endorsed by relevant units
5. IDO submit nominations to the host institutions based on the interview results
6. Applicants go through application process of the host institutions
7. Applicants receive acceptance letters
8. Course selection and visa application
9. Enjoy the semester abroad
