Dear Students,

The 2026 IDO Overseas Winter Program Info Session will be held on October 13, 2025 (12:00–13:00), at T6-503. All interested students are warmly invited to attend! The International Development Office (IDO) has officially opened the application process for the 2026 Overseas Winter Program (please stay updated for program details).

BNBU provides students with the opportunity to participate in short-term overseas winter study programs. All full-time Year 1–4 students who meet the application requirements are eligible to apply for IDO-facilitate overseas winter programs. Please note that this is a self-funded program, and students are encouraged to participate voluntarily based on their individual needs. Before applying, carefully review all requirements from the host institution, travel risks, and policies, and make an informed decision with the consent of your parents/legal guardians.

Details of the 2026 IDO Overseas Winter Program

Application Guidelines:

1.Students from freshman to senior year with a cumulative GPA (cGPA) of 2.0 or above (and a semester GPA (sGPA) of no less than 2.0 for Spring 2025) can apply based on the requirements of the partner institution. Freshmen are exempt from providing grades as they will not yet have any at the time of application.

2.Applicants must obtain a valid passport by October 21st, with at least six months of validity remaining after the program ends.

3.Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

4.Due to the lengthy process involved in the overseas winter program, students with overlapping travel plans around the same period are discouraged from applying to avoid unnecessary losses.

5.The winter program includes transferable credits (note: grades will not count toward your cGPA):

oCourse grades must meet BNBU's minimum grade requirement of C or above to be eligible for credit transfer (note: courses graded as PASS/P are not eligible for credit transfer).

oStudents who have already successfully completed the same course at BNBU with a passing grade or higher are not eligible to transfer credits for the same course.

6.Once admitted to the winter program, the administrative fee of 1,200 RMB is non-refundable after payment.

·Submit the following documents to the IDO office (T4-103) by October 20, 2025, 4:30 PM:

i.A photocopy of your ID card (both sides copied on one side of A4 paper).

ii.Three photocopies of your passport’s photo page.

iii.A completed application form signed by both the student and a parent (the system will generate the form after online application; parent signatures must be handwritten. If the original signed form cannot be provided, a scanned copy with the parent’s handwritten signature is acceptable).

iv.An original transcript of all semesters (please print from the AR Office). Year 1 students are not required to provide transcripts.

2026 IDO海外寒假项目详情


申请须知:


1. 大一到大四cGPA达到2.0(2025年春季学期sGPA不得小于2.0)的同学可根据合作院校要求报名,大一学生因报名时还没有成绩因此不需要提供。

2. 申请的同学务必在10月21日前取得有效护照,且项目结束后仍有6个月的有效期。

3. 申请项目的同学须满18

4. 由于海外寒假项目整个流程较长,为避免不必要的损失,不建议有相邻时期海外出行安排的同学报名。

5. 寒假项目含学分(学分绩点不计入cGPA

1)课程成绩必须达到BNBU成绩等级的C或C以上才能申请将学分转回(注:项目课程评分PASS/P等级不可作为转回标准);

2) 已在BNBU成功修读过同一门课且有及格或以上成绩,不可申请转学分.

6. 寒假项目录取后,行政费1200元一经收取不做退款处理。

请于2025年10月20日下午4:30前到IDO办公室(T4-103)提交如下资料,逾期不候:


1.身份证复印件一份(身份证正反2页复印在A4纸同一面)

2.护照照片页复印件三份(照片页)

3.有父/母及学生本人签名的报名表(*完成网上申请后系统会生成完整报名表,报名表内含有学生及家长签名确认书,家长签名处必须由家长亲笔签名,若无法提供已签名原件,可接受家长亲笔签名的扫描复印件!)

4.所有学期成绩单原件一份(所有学期成绩单,请到AR处打印),大一同学无需提供。
